Wednesday Morning Broker's Open Manoa Area and Maunalani Heights - Previewed 7 Homes
During this morning's brokers' open houses, I previewed the Manoa homes and one on Maunalani Heights. I wanted to look at more along Kilauea Avenue and Diamond Head, but ran short of time. I'll check those out later.

The $1,925,000 is a very unique home. It used to be a Japanese tea house. It would be great for someone who likes that type of ambiance. The $1,099,000 home is nearby and also has a great view. The price reflects the great location and structure of the home and it could use a total renovation.
In the mid-range there were 2 homes that I previewed in a gated community called Manoa Hillside Estates. It's tucked up on the hillside looking over the University of Hawaii campus and also boasts views from lush Manoa Valley to to the dazzling city. There are a total of 4 active listings in this community right now all varying in price from $1.1M and up. One I saw today needed some work and is priced at the lowest, $1.129M. The 2nd I viewed today is priced at $1.657M and was thoroughly renovated. The layout of the rooms was a little odd because it has a shared bathroom between what would be like the childrens' rooms. Those were the only 2 open there today.
Priced at $1.395M is a home that is set up for multi-family living. It's very near the University and right on University Avenue.
The last home is up Maunalani Heights and is priced at $1.499M. It's a newly constructed CPR lot home. It's new, but it's designed with vintage character. It has great views!
