9a Hawaii Standard Time

Today is November 9th.  Along with what is anticipated to be the first day of the major APEC events going on here in Honolulu, the National Emergency Alert System (EAS) is conducting a Nationwide test over radio and television broadcasts at 9am HST.  The sirens aren't supposed to go off here in Honolulu because of the APEC events.
