Honolulu Board of Realtors Residential Resale Statistics for December 2011 & 2011 Year End.

The Honolulu Board of Realtors released their statistics last week. It was a bit of a hectic week for me and I was not able to summarize them and post them on my blog, in a timely fashion, like I normally do. Rather than not sharing anything, I am now posting the link to their December 2011 and Year End summary [PDF].

Since you probably have already come across the data in the regular news media, I will just briefly review it.

December 2011's Median Price for Single-Family Homes was $605,000, up slightly was Condominiums was $285,000, down slightly.

The 2011 Year End Results compared to 2010's show sales prices are slightly lower in both markets. The number of sales in the Single-Family Homes category is slightly less in 2011 while the number of sales in the Condominium category is slightly more.
