Earlier this week, Lola made four months! This has been quite an experience because it is my first time raising a dog from a puppy (about 8 weeks old). Now to figure out how to stop her from barking at us when she feels like she wants attention!

We celebrated the day with her first visit to a park, Kolowalu Park. Kolowalu Park is a great little park in the Kakaako/Ward urban area. It is surrounded by Ward Centers and Koolani and Hokua condominiums. A lot of the neighborhood dogs come out here to play (while on leash).

While on the topic of our puppy, I just want to spread the word that today Subaru Hawaii & Oahu SPCA are partnered in a "Love a Pet Adoption and Pet Supply Drive". On Oahu, it is scheduled to take place, today, between 11am & 2pm at Servco Subaru Waialae. Click the link for more information.
