I've been tracking this 6th Ave listing by Coldwell Banker for the last few months (
ML 1208682) because I felt it was a great investment in a popular area. It wasn't the quietest street in Kaimuki, but the layout of the property made it almost ideal for a 2 unit rental property because of its 2 driveways and pretty much flipped 2 bedroom layouts. It was similar to purchasing 2 - 2 bedroom and 1 bath condo apartments, but this was a house that could be lived in as a 4 bedroom and 2 bath house if preferred. The pricing of it was also very close to pricing of 2 - 2 bedroom condo units, but this is a single family home so there aren't any HOA or condo maintenance fees accompanied with the home. After a small price adjustment and re-list, the home sold for $799,000.
I did not Instagram a picture of the actual house when I looked at it because had clients interested in it. Of course, being the mobile phone photographer & blogger that I am, I did snap a photo of something interesting to me while I was there. It was this
