HBR MLS open houses scheduled for January 1, 2012.

On Thursday's, brokers normally hold broker open houses on the Windward side and the East Oahu areas of the island.  Yesterday, I pulled up the scheduled open houses and found that only 10 were scheduled to be open in the zip code area beginning in "968".  Of course, this is because of the holiday season and traffic is usually low during this time of the year.

I thought it would be interesting to see how many open houses are planned for January 1, 2012, Sunday.  Sunday are the normal public open house days here in Honolulu.  As of Friday morning, there are 37 open houses on the schedule.  More may be added over the next couple of days, but that is all showing up right now.  Not to much open, but there are several "first opens" on the list.  Will you be one of those out looking on New Year's Day?  The theory is that if you are out looking on New Year's Day or a holiday, you are a serious buyer and an excellent prospect to meet.  As for me, I am not holding any open house on New Year's Day.  If you need to reach me, you know how to do it...  :)  Have a nice holiday!
