This morning's hotsheet is being sent from the hotel room in San Francisco. I booked a room at The Good Hotel, located on the corner of 7th and Mission Street. I chose it because its location seemed convenient (2 minutes walking from Civic Center BART Station) and the price was good. The good price is probably because it's an old hotel that has been renovated with a "green" environmentally friendly theme. This is not only my first time staying in San Francisco, but it's my first time staying in a hotel that does not have air conditioning. The lack of air conditioning here doesn't seem to be an issue so far. Last night was cool and comfortable. I haven't experienced how warm it may get during the day time yet.

Here are a few photos from last night...

Earlier this week, Honolulu Magazine posted a blog about a new East Oahu Realty listing in Kalama Valley. There was a comment posted on the Facebook Post asking for the other seven properties that the blog referred to. I decided to run the report for the TMK area 1-3-9 for the past 6 months with a price of $800,000 or less so that it could be referenced.

Here is the report that includes the properties in escrow and sold.

Snapped a photo of the sun rising over the East Oahu Realty office this morning. It's such a beautiful place to have an office!

If you didn't catch my post & Tweet on Sunday about the rail lunch happening today in Downtown, the link is below.

If you read Japanese, or even if you don't and want to check it out, here is a photo of the "Pau Hana" article that I helped with a few months ago. The Hana Hou Japanese Edition of the Hawaiian Air In Flight Magazine is where you would find it. So if you are on a Hawaiian Air flight to Japan, look at the back page for it. It was a fun day with Susumu, the writer. Also, thanks to Yumi for the photo of it.

**Edit 929am** I just got some Klout Perks and a link to share it. There has been some intersting real estate related news about Honolulu in the media over the last couple of days.

Honolulu Magazine's Real Estate Blogger, Melissa Chang wrote about several East Honolulu neighborhoods being recognized as some of the best Trick-or-Treating spots in the nation.

Honolulu Magazine by Melissa Chang: http://www.honolulumagazine.com/Honolulu-Magazine/Real-Estate/October-2011/Honolulu-named-one-of-the-top-cities-for-trick-or-treating/

Yesterday's evening news announced the State of Hawaii's proposal to construct a towering skyscraper in the middle of Kakaako that is supposed to be part of a "rail ready" development goal.

KHON 2 News Skyscraper Report: http://www.khon2.com/news/local/story/Skyscraper-planned-for-Kakaako/vORFcxNUBk6ZZ11uqt5ZSQ.cspx?rss=3030
Hawaii Reporter Skyscraper Report: http://www.hawaiireporter.com/state-plans-towering-residential-skyscraper-in-honolulu/123
What are your thoughts about this?  Where do you like to Trick-or-Treat and how do you feel the proposed rail system will affect Honolulu?
